Orangutans in Borneo:
First release of six former orphans

Animal welfare organizations Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF) and FOUR PAWS have released six orangutan orphans. The orphans will from now on live in the protected Kehje Sewen forest and will during their first year in the wild be monitored intensively but discreetly by well-trained staff. [more]

Project Ukraine: Week 2
FOUR PAWS is neutering dogs in Kiev and Lviv

Our teams are currently on the road with three mobile vet clinics neutering dogs in Kiev and in Lviv. Hundreds of animals have already been neutered and released in the territory where they were found. A fourth mobile vet clinic will soon go into action in Kiev. Two more clinics are waiting for the start of the neutering programme in Donetsk and Zaporizhia. [more]

VIER PFOTEN Romania and the City Hall of Bucharest signed a Protocol for launching a major neutering project in the romanian Capital. The campaign, organized at the request of the City Hall, will last one year, between the 1 September 2012 - 31 August 2013. [more]

FOUR PAWS Stray Animal Care starts in Lviv

Today Lviv became the second town in Ukraine to join FOUR PAWS’  intensive stray animal care programme. Kiev was the first town to welcome FOUR PAWS. Yuriy Golets, Head of Housing and Communal Service for the City Hall of Lviv assured the organisation of his full support of the programme. [more]
